Communicate Names Habib Wehbi Among Top 70 Influential Leaders in MENA

Communicate magazine has named Habib Wehbi, Chairman and Group CEO of W Group Holding, among its Top 70 Most Influential Leaders in Media, Advertising, and Production in the Middle East and North Africa. 

The annual list identifies leaders whose influence extends beyond titles, focusing on those shaping the region’s media ecosystem through measurable impact and industry credibility. According to Communicate, the ranking reflects a combination of visibility, market presence, and editorial assessment of each leader’s role in driving change within the sector. 

In its feature on Wehbi, Communicate highlighted his role in “revolutionizing the out-of-home media experience while expanding the company portfolio through its investment arm.” 

The magazine traced Wehbi’s entrepreneurial journey back to 1996, when he entered Dubai’s business landscape by introducing trolley advertising in local supermarkets. 

Communicate stated that today Wehbi leads W Ventures Holding, a diversified conglomerate with a footprint across OOH media experiences, technology, diversified investments, and financial portfolios. 

The feature also emphasized Wehbi’s long-term strategic media collaborations with key institutions including Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Expo City Dubai, which the magazine cited as central to positioning W Group as “a trusted partner” in the region’s evolving OOH sector. 

In addition, Communicate referenced partnerships with major mall developers such as Majid Al Futtaim, Aldar Properties, and Dubai Properties, noting the breadth and depth of W Group’s collaborations across the region. 

The publication described the Top 70 list as a reflection of current influence within the industry, spotlighting leaders shaping the media landscape today and contributing to its future direction.
